I am glad to have the opportunity to speak to your club. I hope that you wish to be informed about my numismatic writing. I have covered a wide variety of topics. Some articles are geared towards beginners, while others are directed at very knowledgeable collectors. Many articles are intended to be helpful to collectors who are on tight budgets, though other articles are about famous rarities.
More than 770 of my numismatic articles have been published, plus at least 67 research-oriented press releases. Additionally, I have won numerous awards from the Numismatic Literary Guild. In August 2022 and again in August 2023, I was the sole winner of the award for ‘Best All-Around Portfolio.’ These were the seventh and eighth times that I won outright or shared this award.
1) I ceased contributing to CoinWeek in 2018 and began contributing to the Greysheet in 2019. Most of my articles in the CDN-Greysheet family of publications can be accessed via the following URL:

Many of these first or near-simultaneously appeared in print publications, which serve varying purposes. In addition to The Monthly Greysheet, CDN publishes The CPG Coin & Currency Review and The CAC Rare Coin Market Quarterly. If an article was earlier in a print publication, not everyone who reads it online will be familiar with the context in which it was first published.
2) More than four hundred of the articles that I did contribute to CoinWeek remain posted, plus a significant number that migrated to CoinWeek from CoinLink. Most of the articles that I contributed to CoinLink, however, are no longer available. Some of my CoinWeek articles had to be written quickly. Others were finished after extensive research.

3) More than two-thirds of the issues of COINage magazine published from July 2019 to June 2022 include an article of mine. Hopefully, these may still be accessed by way of the COINage magazine website.
4) For more than five years, I have been doing research for CAC regarding premiums realized by CAC approved coins in auctions. The press releases that flow from this research are usually posted on the CAC, Greysheet and CoinWeek sites.
5) A series of articles on half dollars and a series on half dimes were posted on the CAC site, though they were recently taken down as programmers are busy with the new CAC Grading site. Articles of mine will be posted on the CAC Grading site in the future, including controversial pieces pertaining to the history of Morgan Dollars.
6) Many years ago, I contributed a large number of articles to Numismatic News newspaper and to other publications that were then owned by the same publishing company. A small percentage of these remain posted online, mostly rapidly produced auction coverage. Unfortunately, relatively interesting articles that I contributed to Numismatic News and to World Coin News are not currently available online.
Greg will be addressing our club at our September 18th meeting.
