The minutes of the last meeting were read and accepted to an attendance of twelve members and one guest.
The topics of the month included a watch fob with 19th century coins, and World’s Fair items such as: First Day Covers of the 1939/1940 and 1964/1965 Expo’s.
A collection of Roosevelt dimes from 1946 to 1968 were displayed and another topic, Foreign Currency featuring designs of their respective culture and leaders, and U.S. Native American currency. Collectible vintage radios were also presented.
The continuance of a members’ collection of Large Cents was discussed.
Our next meeting will be September 16, and the topics will be patches of all kinds, such as military, etc., Dollar Coins, and Fractional Currency.
