Our topics of the month were a variety of collectibles such as; two electric radios from the ’60’s, obsolete banknote currency from various states which went out of business, and a 1930 10 yen note from Japan. Also shown was a slabbed flying eagle “no date” cent which specified the cause as a greasy die, and a Hopalong Cassidy radio circa 1950. Coin catalogs were presented from 1944 and 1949, and some examples of prices of coins that are now rare did show a premium over others of the same dates. A 1935 model Hess truck issued in 1980 was also displayed
A William Henry Harrison campaign medal was exhibited bearing the bust of our ninth president and a one cent trial piece designed by Lewis Feuchtwanger in 1837 made of German silver.
